more carrier bags!

 spent far too long trying to make a decent buckle, after much frustration I've settled for buying D-ring loops for a through type, shame though, i really did wanna make them start to finish all myself.

 Soon I will post items for sale on folksy so If you have a burning desire to own some of your very own Tattieoddbits you can.
However I'd really like to make more customised and personalised things so if you want a certain something and you want it just so, write to me and lets see what we can do.

old carrier bags

2 years on and its still going strong, only much grubbier

by far the most exciting crafty thing I ever learnt is that you can use old plastic bags (thanks Thurso Andy's nan for the inspiration)  

                                   to fit up to 40gram 

 The Mk 2 baccy pouch comes with lighter pocket.

 The buttons that I had been making wore out in about a year, not bad and even though it takes much less than 5 minutes to make and attach a new one I now make a crocheted button that will last forever, probably                                                                           

to fit up to 25 gram 

one of the best things about corner shop blue carriers is that they come in hundreds of slightly different shades of blue, giving you this lovely mottled blue yarn.

I'm not all about smoking and choking though. So many things work well made of plastic bags...

I made a new house plant today, had these end bits of yarn and it was raining so perfectly justifiable way to spend my time.
Its stuffed with carrier bag handles left over from making plastic bag yarn

Hats where one of the first things I learned to make (though it took some time to get the pattern clear in my head) and I still love making them because there's so many styles and colours to play with.
